German Parish Attends ACK Council of Christian Churches

Parishioners of St Shimun Bar Sabe-eh of the Assyrian Church of the East in Wiesbaden, Germany have attended and shared the love of Christ at the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Christlicher Kirchen (ACK) Council of Christian Churches.

The annual festival, which took place on 18 June, allows all churches in the city of Wiesbaden to come together in prayer and worship, and usually falls one week after the Holy Feast of the Pentecost.

Choirs from all churches sang, readings took place from the Holy Bible in various languages and sermons were preached by many leaders of the churches present.

Following worship, fellowship was organized by all denominations. In particular, St Shimun Bar Sabe-eh parishioners brought a variety of Assyrian foods that attracted the interest of faithful from non-Assyrian parishes.
