His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV, Catholicos Patriarch of the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East, has confirmed his intention to visit the Archdiocese of Australia in September 2011.

His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV, Catholicos Patriarch of the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East, has confirmed his intention to visit the Archdiocese of Australia in September 2011.

As part of the patriarchal visit, His Holiness will attend the inaugural Celebration of Year 12 Graduation at Mar Narsai Assyrian College (MNAC) on 21 September.

The Year 12 class will proudly be the first to graduate from the Assyrian Schools.

During the Celebration, His Holiness will present each Year 12 student with specially blessed gifts.

Additionally, His Beatitude Mar Meelis Zaia AM, Metropolitan of Australia, New Zealand and Lebanon, will speak about his vision for the Assyrian children in Australia.

Other guest speakers and students will also present a mix of Assyrian dances, drama, music and poetry for the community of parents and friends.

MNAC has also requested the attendance of His Holiness at the Special School Mass for Mar Narsai School Community on 20 September 2011.

Community members interested in attending MNAC’s Celebration of Year 12 Graduation are being encouraged to book their tables early. Parents and friends of the graduating students will be allocated tables. Tickets will soon be available for purchase from Assyrian Schools offices.
