St. George Parish in Kirkuk, Iraq has celebrated the Feast of the Holy Cross with a series of events under the banner ‘Agarta’ translated from Assyrian into English as ‘Letter’.
The events, held on 30 September, included cultural and recreational activities, lectures on faith, informative talks, question-and-answer sessions and meaningful musical presentations.
The celebration was attended by Rev. Gewargis Yousep, parish priest of St. George Parish, along with many deacons, youth members and faithful from Kirkuk.
