The Assyrian Church of the East in Damascus, Syria, has held an open lecture on the topic of ‘Symbols in the Bible’.
The lecture, on 29 November, welcomed all church faithful and was presented by Reverend Toma Asitivo, parish priest of St. George Parish.
The lecture was held in the town of Barzeh and was organized with the hope of appealing to parishioners that reside in surrounding cities and villages of Damascus city.
On the same day, Rev. Toma presented a second lecture to the faithful in Jaramana titled ‘The Role of Parents in the Upbringing of Their Children.’
