St. George Parish in Damascus has celebrated the Feast of St. George the Martyr, the patron saint of the parish.
The Holy Qurbana was offered by parish priest, Rev. Toma Asitivo on 25 October in the Monastery of Abraham in Damascus.
Many faithful from the surrounding areas attended the Eucharistic Liturgy where they beseeched the Lord to hear the prayers of St. George the Martyr and bless the congregation with good health, safety and joy.
The plea included prayers for a comfortable home in the future, peace in the homeland and around the world.
