The Christmas concert was held on 27 December 2011 at the hall of the Ibrahim Al-Khalil Monastery in Jaramana, Damascus. It included a drama telling the story of the birth of our Lord, as well as games and activities, carols and the distribution of gifts to 225 children by Santa Claus. Hymns and prayers were directed towards increasing happiness among the parishioners, seeing as many are immigrants who fled their homeland and are awaiting refugee acceptance by western countries that are willing to offer them a safe home.
