The Chicago Chapter of the Assyrian Church of the East Relief Organization (ACERO) has been received in audience by His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV, Catholicos Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East.

His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV, Catholicos Patriarch, has met in Chicago with Mr. Khalis Isho, Member of the Iraqi Parliament and the head of the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian Popular Council (CSAPC) Electoral List, Mr. Johnson Siyawish, Deputy President of the CSAPC and Dr. Odisho Khoshaba, United States representative of the CSAPC. Also present were Mr. Geliana Younan and Mr. Benjamin Zachariah.

A spiritual themed summer camp, organized by St. George Cathedral, Chicago, has been active in building the faith of the growing generation.

Tuesday, the 12th of July, 2011, His Eminence, Mor Cyril Aphrem Karim paid a cordial visit to His Holiness, Mar Dankha the IV, Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East, who was paying pastoral visits to his churches in the area.

The 2011 Assyrian Church of the East Annual Youth Conference, hosted by St. Mary Parish of Los Angeles, California has proudly celebrated its silver anniversary.

The Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East has attended the 6th North American Syriac Symposium, convened at Duke University.

Filled with a desire to learn more about the history of the Church in the USA, 40 young members of Detroit’s St. Mary Church have experienced a spiritually uplifting visit to Mar Shimun Bar-Sabbai Church in Flint, Michigan.

His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV has elevated young faithful of St Mary Cathedral in Detroit, Michigan to various rankings within the Church.
