The Assyrian Church of the East in Telkaif, Northern Iraq has held a commemoration in honor of the 58 innocent Christians who were massacred at Baghdad’s Our Lady of Salvation Syriac Catholic Church on 31 October, 2010.

His Grace Mar Awa Royel, Bishop of California and Secretary of the Holy Synod, accompanied by Rev. Genard Lazar, Secretary to the Bishop, has met with The Honorable Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA), Congresswoman representing California’s 14th District.

His Beatitude Mar Aprem, Metropolitan of Malabar and India and the United Arab Emirates, His Grace Mar Awa Royel, Bishop of California and Secretary of the Holy Synod, and Rev. William Toma of the Diocese of Eastern USA participated in the International Congress on the Anaphora of Addai and Mari, held in Rome on 25 and 26 October 2011.

St. Shimun Bar Sabbai Parish in Wiesbaden, Germany has warmly welcomed His Beatitude Dr. Mar Aprem, Metropolitan of Malabar and India and the United Arab Emirates on Thursday 20 October 2011 after his arrival at Frankfurt International Airport from London.

His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV, Catholicos Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East, has been honored with worldwide celebrations commemorating the 35th anniversary of his consecration as the head of the Church.
