His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV Catholicos Patriarch, has received in the Chicago Patriarchate, His Excellency Sargon Lazar, Minister of Environment of the Republic of Iraq and member of the Assyrian Democratic Movement (ADM).

Faithful of St. George Parish in Damascus, Syria along with parish clergymen have met with Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Dulaimi, representative of the National Council of Tribes in Iraq.

St. George Parish in Matraville, Sydney has celebrated the commemoration of their patron saint, St. George the Martyr.

His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV, Catholicos Patriarch, has met in Chicago with Mr. Khalis Isho, Member of the Iraqi Parliament and the head of the Chaldean Syriac Assyrian Popular Council (CSAPC) Electoral List, Mr. Johnson Siyawish, Deputy President of the CSAPC and Dr. Odisho Khoshaba, United States representative of the CSAPC. Also present were Mr. Geliana Younan and Mr. Benjamin Zachariah.

St. George Parish in Damascus has celebrated the Feast of St. George the Martyr, the patron saint of the parish.

The Assyrian Church of the East in Telkaif, Northern Iraq has held a commemoration in honor of the 58 innocent Christians who were massacred at Baghdad’s Our Lady of Salvation Syriac Catholic Church on 31 October, 2010.

His Grace Mar Awa Royel, Bishop of California and Secretary of the Holy Synod, accompanied by Rev. Genard Lazar, Secretary to the Bishop, has met with The Honorable Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA), Congresswoman representing California’s 14th District.

His Beatitude Mar Aprem, Metropolitan of Malabar and India and the United Arab Emirates, His Grace Mar Awa Royel, Bishop of California and Secretary of the Holy Synod, and Rev. William Toma of the Diocese of Eastern USA participated in the International Congress on the Anaphora of Addai and Mari, held in Rome on 25 and 26 October 2011.
